Combustible ice: This is a solid compound combined with water. It has a similar appearance to ice, so it is called "combustible ice." Combustible ice is stable under low temperature and high pressure, and the flammable gas released by ice melting is equivalent to 100 times the volume of the original solid compound. According to estimates, the amount of combustible ice is more than the sum of coal, oil and natural gas on Earth.

Coalbed methane: During the formation of coal, the temperature and pressure increase, and the flammable gas is released at the same time as the metamorphism is produced. From peat to lignite, 68m3 gas is produced per ton of coal; from peat to fat coal, 130m3 gas is produced per ton of coal; from peat to anthracite, 400m3 gas is produced per ton of coal. Scientists estimate that coalbed methane on the earth can reach 2000Tm3.

Microorganisms: Many countries in the world are rich in sugar cane, sugar beets, cassava, etc., which can be made into alcohol by using microbial fermentation. Alcohol has the characteristics of complete combustion, high efficiency and no pollution. It can be used to dilute gasoline to get "ethanol gasoline". The raw materials for making alcohol are abundant and the cost is low. According to reports, Brazil has modified hundreds of thousands of "ethanol gasoline" or alcohol-fueled vehicles, reducing air pollution. In addition, the use of microorganisms can produce hydrogen to open up new ways of energy.
